Description
Lynch, the Democratic candidate, holds up a copy of the letter from Lieutenant Governor Joe R. Hanley to a friend, wherein Hanley wrote of debts and political jobs to clear them. Lynch claims that Dewey bought Hanley off for his own personal gain when he dropped out of the gubernaterial race in favor of Dewey. Dewey has denied the charges.
