1945 Press Photo Alcohol Still Explodes in Philadelphia Pennsylvania Garage

The blast shattered windows within a two-block radius and hurled a boiler across two city blocks. Police say the still had a 500-gallon capacity. In foreground are four 750-gallon tanks in which the mash was stored.
