News were published in the newspaper El Universal of Mexico City says U.S. Marines "looted" Managua, capital of Nicaragua, after the disastrous earthquake there. An interview with Vicente Lombardo Toledano, a member of the faculty of the National University in Mexico says, "The most striking impression which I received in central America was the "sack" of Managua by the U.S Marines."
