1970 Press Photo Firemen at Conrad Hilton Hotel Fire in Chicago

Firemen sift through the charred remains of the ninth floor furniture storeroom of the Conrad Hilton Hotel, where fire was believed to have started. Two persons were killed, and at least 16 injured. Police say the blaze was confined to the eighth and ninth floor of the 3,000 room hotel.
