This early riser like many others found it hard to believe early that the corner paper boxes were empty. International Typographical Union members held a "continuous union meeting" in a composing room forcing the Atlanta Constitution to miss its morning editions. it is believed to be the first time in the paper's 99 year old history that it had failed to publish.
