Photo shows Ralph Walters, a staff photographer on the Chicago Sun-Times, won first prize in the 1956 National Photography Contest sponsored by American Music Conference, for his dramatic shot of two young cello players awaiting their cue from the high school orchestra director. The cellists are Anita Sammons and Bruce Carlson.

Photo is dated 1957.
