The Senate Military Preparedness Subcommittee called top US Vietnam Commanders back to the hearing room to explain why they are convinced the bombing of the North Vietnam should be broadened. Chairman John C. Stennis (L) talks with Adm. Ulysses S. Grant Sharp, Commander of US Forces in the Pacific, who was quoted as telling the panel in closed session that the Northern bombing should be expanded to include more valuable targets.
