1955 Press Photo Hugh Hardyman Appears Before UnAmerican Activities Committee

Hugh Hardyman, Topanga fruit grower who was a "delegate" to a so-called "peace conference" in Red China in 1952, claimed the protection of five of the U.S. Constitution's Amendments to escape answering questions about the trip at yesterday's public hearings by the House Subcommittee on Un-American Activities.
