J.W. Buzzel (Left) as he engaged in a verbal battle with assemblyman James Boyle (center). State assemblymen investigating filmland American Federation of Labor Union Activities stood accused of "Pulling Chestnuts out of the fire" for the C.I.O. by J.W. Buzzel, Secretary of the Los Angeles Central Labor Council, when he appeared as a witness in the assembly Interim Labor Committee's Investigation of the International Alliance of Theatrical State Film Employees A.F. of L. Union.
