1936 Press Photo James Anderson Wounded After Fired w/ Officers

Photo shows the 21-year-old James Anderson, robber, told the police he wished they'd killed him, when 20 pellets of birdshot ended his 36-hours of runways freedom. Anderson who had dashed in a stolen auto through three countries following his escape from a sheriff.
