1937 Press Photo Thomas Elder Found Guilty of S. Allan Norton's Assault

Photo shows view of the crowd that gathered in front of the District Court, Greenfield Mass. during a two-hour hearing at which Thomas E. Elder, former Dean of Mt. Hermon School was found probably guilty of assault with intent to kill S. Allan Norton, former Associate at the school. Elder was ordered held in $10,000 bail for the Grand Jury.
