Description
Germany - Munich electrician Justinus Sturm proudly displays a letter of thanks he received from President Eisenhower, after sending three self-made fishing spinners to the President. Knowing of Eisenhower's keen interest in sports fishing, fishing enthusiast Sturm forwarded the spinners via the President's personal friend, Representative Harris Ellsworth. The spinners of the same type shown above, are for catching big fish. Ellsworth sent them to the President, and then forwarded Ike's letter of thanks to Sturm.
