1948 Press Photo Two Drivers Escaped with Serious Injury

Photo shows two drivers escaped serious injury when highway bridge on which they were driving a diesel truck and cab and passenger car collapsed, plunging drivers and vehicles 30 feet into Los Angeles River. Truck driver crawled out of cab without scratch although huge beam fell for slight cuts after his car overturned.
