George Dugan (L) presents James Supple Memorial Award for excellence in Religious Journalism to Kenneth Dole, church editor of the Washington Post and Time Herald, at a dinner meeting of the Religious News writer Association. The award is given on honor of the late James Supple, Religious writer of the Chicago Sun Times and a founder of the RNA.
