Four men were entombed beneath a mass of debris and twisted girders when an ammonia tank exploded at the branch of the Scott-Powell Dairy, Philadelphia, Pa. Firemen and police were prevented from rescuing the men because of the ammonia fumes and tons of water released upon the building.
