1947 Press Photo George F. Kinkead Offer to Buy St. Louis Browns

A young Louiseville businessman, George F. Kinkead revealed that he is making an offer to buy the St. Louis Browns, American League baseball team. Kinkead, representing two well to do st. Louisians, is meeting Dick Muckerman, President of the Brownies at the latter's office.
