Army Research and Development Engineers has been develop an over water aerial tramway for landing supplies ship to shore across open beaches, without the use of Piers or other Harbor facilities. A 100 foot high towers support cables which provide "Tracks" for selfpropelled "Skycars". The Tramway system can shuttle 15 to 20 tons of cargo at one at a time with the speed up to 30 miles per hour. This system is expectted to supply lines at wrecked, damage port.
