Mr. and Mrs. Thomas R. Balentine married on January 25th at Miramar Ranch California. The bride is formerly Miss Ellen Browning Scripps daughter of Mrs. James G. Scripps of Miramar, and namesake of late La Jolla philanthropist from Seattle and Mr. Balentine is a son of Col. Arthur Balentine of San Diego and grandson of the late Thomas B. Reed of Maine, Speaker of the House of Representative years ago resident of Portland.
