1959 Press Photo Couple Saved After Three Days on Lake Erie

On September 10, Paul Laughlin,60, and wife, Edith,49 of Youngstown, Ohio, rescued by a passing freighter after three days adrift on Lake Erie in a 16-foot boat. Examine the outboard motor that cause their trouble. laughlins and their boat were taken off the freighter Everett by the Coast Guard as she passed Detroit.
