1936 Press Photo More than $50,000 in the form of food exchange cards is being

distributed by the Pittsburgh Plate Glass Co to families of its 7,000 striking workers. The gift cards were in most cases welcomed by the strikers some of whom are almost destitute after 2 months of enforced idleness, Here a woman whose husband is one of striking workers is shown receiving one of the cards wihich can be exchanged for food
