T-Bone, Georgia's famous two-year-old pet quail is emmersed in thougt as she helps I.M. Springer. The bird still sleeps under a blanket, lays eggs in her owner's laps, occasionally sips beer or wine from a bottle and flirts outrageously with wild boy friends she calls from the fields. When she isn't doing any of these things, she indulges in her favorite past time, listening to the radio while traveling through seven southeastern states with the Springers. Springer paints gas stations for a big oil company during their travels.
