Sachen was the girl wjo gained national notoriety 20 years ago when she hoaxed New York City Newspapers and blase Broadway by posing as a gold miner's daughter fresh from the wild of Alaska. She was feted and dined as a naive child of the wilds until a Kansas City reporter burst her bubble. The parish priest remembered Louise, fearing that he would refuse to marry them, crossed over to Kansas City for her license. The couple had to go back to their home city rouse the marriage license clerk for another license and were finally married.
