1956 Press Photo Ed Brown and Jack O'Shea prepare their boat for their voyage

Ed Brown, 24, left, and "Capt. Jack O'Shea, 43, make some last minute adjustments on the steering wheel of their 44 foot home made kevch. The pair hope to eventually sail around the world in the boat which was built in Portsmouth, OH and is now on its way down the Ohio to New Orleans.
