Mrs. Florence Jackson, of Jackson Heights, Long Island, was slain by her admirer, Stanley Martin, Jr., after an alleged drinking party. Martin, also married and a father, stated to police that they had decided to end their affair by suicide, or at least that she had requested that he kill her. He was ready to kill himself, but stated that he became clear in his mind suddenly, and he took her to a hospital, after which he confessed to police. Mrs. Jackson is shown with one of her children.
