1956 Press Photo Robert Fergusons Labrador Tippy Cares for Rabbits in Minnesota

Hopkins, Minnesota - A few weeks ago, Tippy (left), a black Labrador, had a litter of seven puppies. When her owner, Robert Ferguson, started to give the puppies away, Tippy retaliated by hunting up baby rabbits as replacements. Now, although only six pups have been given away, Tippy has gathered eight small live rabbits, over which she watches here together with her one remaining pup.
