Description
Dean of Medicine at Marquette University Dr. Eben J. Carey shows Dr. Frank K. Boland what just happens after receiving a bad blow in the head. It shows through an instrument that sends polarized light in a glass rod in pressure waves like in the nervous system. The Medulla Oblongata sends a wave of fluid pressure that causes an abnormal cavity that leads to paralysis and atrophy of some muscles.
