1964 Press Photo Cheri Martin admires spring blooms on Cleveland's Mall, Ohio

It's June in May on the Mall, where roses like these being admired by Miss Cheri Martin, Turner Construction Company receptionist, have responded to summer-like sun and are delighting passerby with their crimson blooms. Scarlet geraniums and white petunias have been planted in other Mall flower beds, completing a brilliant show of floral color in the area of The Press War Memorial Fountain.
