Credit - ACME and NEA Completing six years of negotiations between the United States and France, the dual tax on American concerns in France was abolished, removing a thorn in Franco-American business relations. Owing to the illness of Premier Andre Tardieu of France, American Ambassador Walter Edge went to the Premier's home for the signing of the articles.
