Credit - United Press Charleville, France - Rioting North African workers from the Ardennes, France, region take aim at approaching special police (not shown) during a bloody riot in Charleville's streets and squares. The North African Arab element throughout France held demonstrations and fought police in protest of the recent house arrest of Tunisian Nationalist leader, Messali Hadj. Hadj was arrested at the beginning of the recent wave of terrorism in Tunisia. Note the cart full of rocks the rioters took with them as they were forced back through the streets by rifle-swinging police.
