Caudle testified that Beaty got him a new Chevrolet at a reduced price while the operator was under Federal tax investigation and that he still owes Beaty $285, the difference between the trade-in allowance on Caudle's 1942 car and the price at which Beaty got him the new one. "I've offered to pay him many times but he just won't take it," Caudle said.
