1963 Press Photo Charles Samuel, David Phipp, People to People International

Credit - UPI and NEA Paola, Kansas - With a shovel, cement and a straight eye, two British participants in the People-to-People International Work Camp level a concrete foundation for a giant outdoor oven in Paola, Kansas. The boys, Charles Samuel (left) and David Phipp, are part of the 13 foreign student group, who came to the U.S. to build the park area and have succeeded in cementing ties of International friendship as well.
