Conflicts behind the present world situation and how they affect the youth of Europe and other countries are being studied by an International Service Seminar at the Berlin Quaker Neighborhood Center. The American Friends Service Committee is sponsoring the seminar, which is being attended by approximately 40 graduate students and young people from the United States, Great Britain, France, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Eastern Europe and the four zones of Germany. During their stay in Berlin, they will study and work together for the building of international understanding and cooperation. Shown is Silvia Breed, of Boston (left), and Marigold Landsdell, London, working on making a kindergarten out of barracks which once housed Polish displaced persons.
