A visit to the Vatican and an audience with the pope a highlight of a European visit Thursday for Vince Lombardi (extreme right), coach of the Green Bay Packers. Pope John XXIII granted an audience to a group that include Mrs. Lombardi. Lombardi was a football star at Fordham in his college days.
