Scheveningen, Holland's North Sea beach resort on the outskirts of The Hague, is completely restored and doing a "land office" business, as the picture shows. Everybody had a caned or wicker beach chair and "sun worshiping" is back on full peacetime basis. The resort is minus a half mile long recreation pier bombed by the Germans during the war, but there are two miles of beachfront promenade that attracts vacationists from Belgium, Holland, Luxembourg, France and other European countries.
