Terry Nalley, 6, ...without a left wrist and hand, was all set to learn to catch a baseball with an artificial hand and glove, but someone stole them in Olathe, Kas,, Thursday. A wire hand that could be screwed into his artificial wrist and that fit inside a boy sized baseball glove had been designed by a Kansas City manufacturer of artificial limbs as a gift for Terry. The sack containing the new equipment was left at a lunch counter.
