"I'm sorry, Max, but we Badgers had to win," said Glen Frank (left), president of the University of Wisconsin, as he met President Max Mason of Chicago University after the Chicago-Wisconsin football game. To this the former Badger professor is said to have replied that he didn't mind it as much as if it been another team.
