Porpoise - A bottlenose dolphin swam beside its mother a few hours after its birth at Marineland of the Pacific at Palos Verdes, California. It was 26 inches long, weighed an estimated 15 pounds and is said to be the first dolphin bred on the west coast. Baby dolphin born at oceanarium - The 26-inch female was named Sandy.
