1963 Press Photo Herbert Block Presents Golden Key Award to Helene Harris

Herbert L. Block of Washington, D.C., whose nationally syndicated cartoons are signed "Herblock", presented the Golden Key Award to his former teacher, Miss Helene Harris, 87, of Evanston, Illinois. Accepting the award for Miss Harris who was unable to make the trip to Atlantic City, N.J., was Penny Simon, a senior at Chicago's Senn High School. It was at Senn High School that Block had Miss Harris as a teacher 35 years ago.
