Old-timers watched the flight of an old-time airplane at Kitty Hawk, N.C. Members of the Early Birds Flying club, John J. Curren (left), Long Island, N.Y., who got his pilot's license in 1913, and Niels Bang, Staten Island, N.Y., license in 1915, watched a 1912 ship at the Wright memorial, where the 50th anniversary of flight is being celebrated.
