automobile, historic, Orient Buckboard. One of the most ancient of the oldtime "hot rods" at the fair was this 1903 Orient Buckboard, owned by the Proctor Academy of Andover, Mass. Driver Laurides Lauridsen wears the duster, cap and goggles that were derigeur in the early days of the horseless carriage.
