1987 Press Photo High Falls leads to Seven States scenic view in Tennessee

The roar of rushing waters of the 90-foot High Falls lead to the sweeping panorama of the "Seven States" view from Rock City's Lover's Leap. It would take excellent eyesight and a cloudless day to "See Seven States from Rock City", but travelers come away marveling at the distant view of the Appalachians and Great Smoky Mountains of North Carolina and Tennessee; South Carolina shades the eastern horizon, with Virginia and Kentucky to the north, Alabama to the southwest and Georgia lying at the visitor's feet.
