Lake Cumberland is one of the most beautiful bodies of water in the central part of the United States. A deep lake surrounded by heavy forests and rugged hills, it is also one of the best fishing areas in Kentucky and neighboring states. At the left is the boat dock at Lake Cumberland State Park, near Jamestown. The park provides good lodging, food and fishing facilities and there are a number of excellent privately-owned fishing camps on the 110-mile-long lake.
