1950 Press Photo William B Boles, home and shop standing in the way of city plan

Standing in the way of the City's plan to straighten the street is the one story frame building (right) at 146 S. 1st st. The place is the home and shop of William B. Bolles, who refuses to sell the structure. He says the city officials will have to haul him out dead.
