Only 14 of the children were home on their farm north of Dodgeville when the Herman and Helen Zoellick family posed for this picture to introduce in the world the newest member of the clan, Beth Candice. Mrs. Zoellick held the baby, her 18th child and the third one born at home, as her husband looked on. Watching from their perches on the farm wagon were (front from left) Margaret, 24; Katherine, 10; Lynda, 9; Teresa, 7; Lisa, 5; Pamela, 4; and Valerie, 3; in the second row were Neal, 12; Yvonne, 13; Nancy, 14; and Debra, 17, and in the back, Allen, 22; Herman, 20, and Jeffery, 16. Missing were Vance, 23; Barbara 19, and Herbert, 18.
