Description
Androeles played by Alan Young was supposed to be fed to the lion but discovered that it was the same one he had found in the forest months before, lame with a thorn in its foot. Androcles had risked his life to help the lion at the time and it remembered. They end the scene dancing around the arena together, the lion on its hind legs towering over its friend.
