1944 Press Photo Famous Argentine quintuplets celebrate their first birthday

Dressed in their Sunday best, the famous Argentine quintuplets stand in their play pen and celebrate their first birthday, July 15, 1944. They are all healthy and normal youngsters. The two boys, Carlos Alberto and Franco are at left and the three girls, Maria Ester, Maria Fernanda, and Maria Christina are at right. Note the handsome rompers and dresses the quintuplets are wearing. Children of Mr. and Mrs. Franco Diligenti, they were not listed as quints at birth in order to avoid publicity.
