"Rose in a society photograph" is the caption for this updated picture in "Rose" by Gail Cameron. In the recently published book, the author described Mrs. Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy as "having had more and lost more than most women who ever lived." In the biography, Mrs. Kennedy is quoted as sating: "I just made up my mind that I wasn't going to be daunted by anything. If I collapsed, then it would have a very bad effect on the other members of the family, naturally... and I think I owe them a certain calmness and encouragement..."
