This "Uncle Bill" Cody, 59, grandson of William F. "Buffalo Bill" Cody, most famous cowboy who ever lived, as he appeared at St. Catherine Laboure School in this Chicago suburb to give one of his free talks on history and opportunity to children. He recalled the original Cody's feat of killing 4,280 buffalo to feed the builders of the first transcontinental railroad and emphasized he feels opportunity for heroic achievement is present for today's youth.

Photo is dated 1972.

Photo measures 7 x 10.25 inches.
