1962 Press Photo A cargo helicopter rescuing a disabled aircraft at Camp McCoy

A cargo helicopter was called to "rescue" a light reconnaissance chopper after the latter lost altitude, then was unable to take off. The smaller aircraft was stranded atop a stone cliff in the north training area at Camp McCoy while its pilot was stringing telephone lines between high peaks.
