Description
After a futile assault on Spud hill in Korea, a wounded American soldier was carried by buddies toward a first aid station. Other wounded were helped from a personnel carrier in the background. Spud hill is at the southern end of the T-Bone hill area. The attack bogged down and was beaten back by Chinese as Americans were within 15 yards of the crest. Caught in a vicious cross fire, they were forced to give up the assault. Korean War - Wounded - United States - Evacuated
